19. Fearing "The Burn Ninja"

Every town has its silly myths and the silliest that goes around amongst the youth of Newton Aycliffe is the tale of "the Burn Ninja!" The Burn is an area of the town with a stream running through it, which is generally quite secluded and surrounded by woodland. "Legend" (or the talk of classrooms of pre-teens) has it that a ninja lurks down there, throwing his shuriken at innocent walkers!
