25 Best Apple Store Apps For 2016

3. Scanbot

Have you seen those films where then use some advanced technological devices to scan documents and upload them into a database? Well there's an app that can do that for you now. Scanbot does exactly what it says on the tin. Lets you scan documents and upload QR codes. Doesn't seem the most advanced of apps but it has some pretty cool features. In the free version you can scan premium quality PDFs or JPGs with 200 dpi and higher but it has some great cloud integration. It will work no bother with iCloud Drive, Dropbox, Box, Evernote and other cloud services. The free version will also allow you to scan multi page documents and even enhance your scans with color modes and automatic optimisation. The pro version, £3.99, will give you some pretty sweet text recognition (OCR) so you can extract the text of your scans to copy, search, lookup etc and it will even give you passcode protection with Touch ID support and even PDF password protection for those passing over some 'personal' information...
