7. Bachelor Chow (Futurama)

Out of all the products that exist in the realm of fiction its the practical ones like Bachelor Chow that make you long for an industrious company to see the potential and start development. Dog food for bachelors. Although we live in a world designed to cater to our convenience culture you can't get any more convenient than buying a sack of chow that will fulfil all your nutrition needs just by filling a bowl and adding water.

6. Mattel Hoverboard (Back to the Future II)

Surely one of the most coveted items on the list and another that has made its way into the real world, albeit sadly without the all important hover capabilities. It can only be a matter of time before the boffins at Mattel perfect a working miniature hover repulsion system though.Until then Mattel's scale replica of the Hover Board will have to be seen as the definitive edition until the technology catches up.

5. Duff Beer (The Simpsons)

Can there be a more notable fictional bevvy than Homer's beloved Duff? Matt Groening was always adamant that he would never license the Duff name to a real beer - for fear that it would encourage children to drink. Despite this several Breweries all over the world have marketed versions of Springfield's favourite suds, including the Daleside Brewery in the UK. Daleside have avoided legal action by being careful not to mention the Simpsons in any of their marketing, this hasn't been the case with all Duff brewers as legal action has been taken against companies in America, Australia, Germany and Chile to name a few.

4. Nike Mags 2015 (Back To The Future II)

Nike released a replica pair of Marty McFly€™s famous self-lacing sneakers back in 2011. Unfortunately the shoes may have looked like those worn in the film but they lacked the crucial feature of being able to self-lace. This is something Nike intend to rectify with the release next year of Nike Mags 2015, which they claim will self-lace just like Marty€™s coveted future 80s kicks.
