The year in which Kim Jong-un was born is up for debate, but the exact day is not. In fact, the date of January 8 is commemorated as a North Korean national holiday, such is the reverence with which this day is held.

8. He's The World's Only General Without Military Experience

It is frightening that a country with 1,190,000 active military personnel - as well as 600,000 reservists and almost 6 million paramilitary officers - and which has access to nuclear weaponry has both a leader and a general with exactly zero days worth of armed-forces experience.

Despite this, Kim Jong-un was made a four-star daejing - or general - of the North Korean armed forces in September 2010, before assuming control of the North Korean Army in December 2011 and then being appointed "marshal of the army" in July 2012.

No wonder the world is petrified of North Korea - their Supreme Leader has no armed-forces experience yet is in total control of the nation's military. World War III does not seem like such an unlikely possibility after all...
