3. Having To Drive Over Five Miles For McDonalds & KFC
Why doesn't a town the size of Morpeth have either of these fine diners? Or even just one of them for that matter? Instead of having the connivence of simply popping down the street to wonder at Ronald's burger or sample some of the Colonel's famous chicken, we are forced to get in our cars, take to the Pegswood bypass and drive all the way to Ashington and back again. No one in their right mind likes taking that route, do they? Isn't life unfair?
