25 Secrets Of Walt Disney World That You Didn't Know
14. The Animatronics Of Mexico
If you have read our article on Epcot you will be familiar that some of the animatronics have been recycled.
This is certainly the case for the Grand Fiesta Tour starring the Three Caballeros. Late in 2015 Disney installed animatronics of the three musical birds. These aren't brand new animatronics.
The Three Caballeros actually date back to the opening day of the Magic Kingdom. Originally installed at the Mickey Mouse Revue, they were there until the attraction closed in 1980.
After that they were flown half way across the world to Tokyo Disney where Mickey Mouse Revue ran there until 2009.
Since then the three were put into storage and remained almost unseen by the general public for 6 years.
They look pretty fresh faced for 45 year old animatronics.
