After he was so thoroughly ruined in 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Deadpool gets a second chance at cinematic glory, this time with an R-rating and a proper Deadpool costume! Ryan Reynolds reprises the role he was seemingly born to play as the loud-mouthed, wise-cracking superhero, and though it remains to be seen whether mainstream audiences will connect with the character, the ultra-violence, bad language and fourth wall-breaking should help make this one of the year's most singular and inventive comic book movies. With all the worry that it might end up as another Dredd (a film the nerds passionately championed but torrented rather than actually paid to see), do your nerdy duty and give the movie your cash!
