3. The Blues Brothers Live
The Blues Brothers Show is a live show attraction located at Universal Studios. The show first debuted in March 1991 in the New York area and is based on the 1980 film The Blues Brothers. It features the titular characters of Jake and Elwood performing classic rock and soul songs from the film. During Universal's annual Universal Holidays events, the show is re-vamped with the Blues Brothers performing Christmas season songs. Foam machines are also built temporarily near the show to make the appearance of false snow. It's fun and harmless enough - and it happens on the streets so you don't have to queue specifically to see it - but there are so many more current musical films that could replace it that it seems odd that it has lasted for more than twenty years.
