5 Exciting Things Coming To Tokyo Disney Resort

1. Beauty And The Beast Area

Possibly the biggest announcement from the resort is the new Beauty and the Beast area that will be opening in Fantasyland.

Taking over the area that occupies both StarJets and Grand Circuit Raceway this new area will extend Fantasyland all the way past Toontown and into Tomorrowland.

Beast's Castle appears to be the centrepiece of the new area and will also feature the small French village that Belle calls home.

Disney have confirmed that there will be a shop and a restaurant but unlike in Florida, Beast's Castle doesn't appear to be the home of the eatery.

Inside the castle guests will go on a magical journey with Belle as she falls for the the Beast and helps to end the curse. Concept art shows that the ride vehicles will be the enchanted dishes which featured in the famous Be Our Guest scene from the movie.

Disney have yet to name this attraction but with an opening date of 2020 it really isn't long to wait until we find out what it will be.
