5 Ways To Live Forever (And 7 Reasons It Would Suck)

10. How To Live Longer: Body

There are a number of communities around the world that seem to have much longer lifespans than everywhere else, usually with a larger-than-average proportion of people who live well into their hundreds. Scientists have long been studying these communities to discover their secrets and have found that there are a number of factors that tend to contribute to their longevity.

Possibly the most important factor is that these long-lived cultures tend to subsist on a virtually, if not completely, vegetarian diet. A large proportion of what these people eat is made up of fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds, legumes, and fish, with the very occasional meat dish.

Other factors include leading an active lifestyle (but not necessarily exercising as that can be damaging) through daily manual labour, staying away from pollution and basically avoiding many of the trappings of modern life.

It's pretty ironic that the latest in scientific discovery and technological innovation has found that staying well clear of scientific discovery and technological innovation is the key to living a long life.
