6 Bonkers Conspiracy Theories Behind Famous Assassinations

6. JFK Assassination Orchestrated By Hat Makers

The Theory: According to one theory, Kennedy€™s assassination was organised by a hat makers guild for his supposed lack of hat wearing which threatened to destroy their industry. They hoped that Lyndon Johnson€™s hat wearing would start a trend and boost sales. Why It€™s Bonkers: This is my favourite of all for sheer bonkersness. Unsurprisingly this is the theory that has least actual supporters, and is largely a joke. But a conspiracy is a conspiracy, since most conspiracies are jokes to most people it would seem ignorant to exclude one that is actually meant as a joke rather than keeping it to ones believed by ignorant people. I love this conspiracy; someone should really make an animated film around it. I€™d love to see a little animated meeting of a hat makers guild in which they all pooh pooh at the fact that Kennedy doesn€™t wear hats all the time. This theory has a whimsical nature about it rather than the rest which frankly, in my own honest opinion are just a bit sad. For more information on claims the Kennedy killed the hat (rather than the hat killed Kennedy) follow this link. In all seriousness, assassination is really not a humorous subject; it€™s the absolute garbage that some people manage to come up with that is the joke. I feel a bit sorry for people who actually believe these crackpot theory€™s with blind ignorance of the facts in front of them. Saying that, I€™m not completely closed to alternative theories before you haters get all hatey. If someone comes to me and shows me evidence of how and why and of these theories are correct, backed up by sources and the such then I shall run naked throughout the streets of old London town spreading the word. We€™d like to know your thoughts on conspiracy theories surrounding famous assassinations or any examples you know of that were not included in this article.
