6. Reality Television

Recently South Park had an episode titled "Raising the Bar" which highlighted this scourge of humanity, most notably the show featuring "Honey Boo Boo." Not only was it a great take on what could be classed as essentially the lowest form of humanity, but it poses a good question that EVERY "human" on the face of planet should take the time to have a good hard look in the damn mirror and ask themselves.

Now lets forget the fact that someone who considers themselves part of humanity devised and created this show. How in the blue hell is this woman not in jail and that poor child not in protective custody? In fact I honestly believe that ANY parent that signs their child up for ANY reality program should be immediately investigated by child services. As in my eyes it is absolutely no different then selling your child into sex slavery.

I am personally offended by this show as medically I can't have children. I will never experience the joy of holding my first newborn in my arms and seeing in its eyes that unconditional love that a lot of parents nowadays take for granted. And it enrages me to think these people don't realize what a privilege it is to be able to have a child. Now some of you might read this and ask the question "what has this got to do with other, totally different reality shows?"

Because from day one when shows like Big Brother and Survivor became all popular in showing the masses that it does not take education, dedication and hard work to succeed in this world, rather just an insatiable desire to become famous and the willingness to act like a fool for the camera, was the day that humanity's evolution did a 180.

Do you think Neil Armstrong went to the moon just so he could be famous and have his own television show? No, he did it for the advancement of ALL mankind. Something which I am sure in his vision for the future did not involved people like the Kardashians receiving all sorts of celebrity status and accolades on the basis of a damn sex tape. And don't even get me started on any of those douchebags from ANY version of Big Brother.

Everyone whom had a part of creating this genre of marketing or its participants should not be lauded for wasting our precious oxygen, they should be rounded up and shot into the sun. Kind of like South Park.
