Both Missy and Buddha were given a new loving home by James. While Missy was saved from mistreatment by her previous owner, Buddha was found discarded in a bin after initially being bred for dog fighting. James explains how they have both have enriched his life saying "It would be hard to imagine not having them around now. They're like members of the family."
