Art Director, Alan Gilmore has confessed that when designing the land they wanted to make use of the landscape around them, including the views of the mountains from the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey queue, allowing guests to feel like the castle is nestled in Scotland, rather than 5,000 miles away in Los Angeles.

Not only do you get to see Hogwarts in a more natural setting, but when designing the Hollywood Hogwarts, Gilmore and his team decided to showcase the castle from a different angle.
