What does £2 billion pound buy you? Well, the BBC hopes to use such a huge financial outlay to create a Doctor Who and Sherlock-inspired theme park in Kent. The corporation has signed a preliminary agreement to establish a holiday resort that would feature rides inspired by its best-loved shows - including Top Gear, Doctor Who and Sherlock. A water park, cinema and huge theatre will be built alongside the theme park - which the BBC hopes will tempt thousands upon thousands of Who fanatics to make the trip to South-West England to enter the sci-fi world of their fantasies. However, you may have to use a TARDIS of your own to visit the theme park right now as it will not open its doors until 2020...
