Susan Roston’s genius is in molding ceramic, a hard solid material, into the likeness of spongy and soft sea creatures. She renders the weird and wonderful world of undersea creatures in clay, so that you can have them in your home without the investment in an expensive aquarium.
Roston has been working with clay since 1996 and teaches her skills to others in pottery classes.
So lifelike are her pieces that they seem to be moving and flowing as if underwater. Great gift idea for that special marine biologist in your life.
