Of course, if there is a place with conspiracies whirling around it, then the moon landing naysayers are going to want in on the action.

According to a 1999 Gallup poll, as many as ten percent of the people living in the US don't believe the official version of the 1969 moon landing. So if these folks don't buy that the Apollo 11 crew actually landed on the moon, then where did the television footage come from?

It would be difficult, if not impossible, to keep a moon landing hoax under wraps if it was filmed in a place like Hollywood. However, a secret, secure military base located in a Nevada desert would make for the perfect filming site. Moreover, it's important to remember that most people weren't aware of Area 51's existence in 1969. Is it possible that Neil Armstrong's "giant leap for mankind" took place inside a top-secret air force base? Probably not.

Though, to be fair, if people are willing to consider human-alien breeding programs and hurricane-shooting ray guns, then a moon landing hoax inside the facility shouldn't be entirely ruled out.
