6. Plastic Tickets

Universal Orlando recently announced that Annual Passholders will now be receiving plastic tickets rather than the old paper ones.

Plastic tickets are brilliant - perfect for all those water rides so you don't have to be concerned about your ticket getting wet! They are ideal for putting in your wallet or purse for any spontaneous trips to Universal.

Of course, what would make this even better is if plastic passes weren't only available to Annual Passholders but were also purchasable for any visitors who come for a few days or longer as paper tickets are a bit of a drag.

They get scuffed, crumpled and wet. It is so easy to throw away a paper ticket when you are clearing out any receipts in your pocket. It isn't so bad for guests coming for one day but on longer vacations ticket can get bashed up by the end of the trip.

Yes, paper tickets are an excuse to purchase a lanyard to keep it safe (and to put your work pass on and show off to your colleagues) but it would be so much better to have plastic ones, if for nothing else than they make for a good souvenir which you can keep for years.

Hopefully Universal are starting with Annual Passholders and are working down to us unfortunate people who can only get to enjoy the parks once a year.
