When you enter the stretching room we see Melanie in each portrait alongside a gentleman. As the room begins to change and stretch we see Melanie fade out of the images and each of the gentleman meet their untimely demise.

The portraits each represent the men who fell in love with Melanie and intended to marry her including:

- Ignatius Knight who is about to meet his end thanks to the standing upon a lit box of dynamite.

- Sawyer Bottom is stood upon a log which is about to go through a spinning saw.

- Barry Claude who is about to be attacked by a bear and a cub.

- Captain Rowan D. Falls whose boat is about to head off the end of a waterfall.

Disney loves a pun when it comes to their spooky attractions and these former lovers have a some rather wonderful ones.
