8 Cool Jobs You Don't Need Education Or Experience To Get

6. Forest Fire Lookout

If you live near a national park or forest with the possibility for wildfires, you can get a job as a fire lookout. No experience or education needed. Job duties include sleeping in a forest cabin at night, and sitting in a tower by day, and the job usually lasts for a few weeks before you go back home. You can do whatever you want on the job as long as smoke is reported as soon as you see it. Plus, you may even get a free helicopter ride in and out to your location depending on where it is. Unfortunately, some places are volunteer-only, and there is rarely electricity at the assigned cabin. This means long hours of being bored, in case books and sudoku aren't entertaining enough. You do receive free housing and money for food, though, so that's nice. Look into this job if you don't mind seclusion and have sufficient savings to take care of your bills.
