8 Cool Jobs You Don't Need Education Or Experience To Get

5. Wilderness Ranger

At least in the US, you can get a job as a wilderness ranger (or trail crewman, or fisheries nut, or whatever else floats your fancy in the wild) without any wilderness experience or college education. You'll be working out in the wilderness almost every work day, sometimes every work night too. Sometimes you'll be 30km away from civilization all alone with only your trusty axe and crosscut saw by your side, or sometimes you'll be surrounded by eight teammates, all wielding chainsaws or taser fishing nets that look like Ghostbusters Proton Packs. Again, sometimes you'll have to apply for a volunteer position before you can obtain a paid position. It depends on how desperate that particular wilderness is for workers. Either way, you get completely free (or extremely cheap) government housing and a daily allowance for "food" items, which you can spend on important necessities like literally whatever you want.
