8 Cool Jobs You Don't Need Education Or Experience To Get

3. Voice Actor

Every voice you hear on every commercial and in every movie that isn't coming out of a live person's mouth on screen is a recorded voice spoken by a real person behind a microphone in a studio somewhere. The same goes for every voice you've ever heard in a video game. And contrary to popular belief, it really isn't all that difficult for you to be that voice and get paid for it. It doesn't matter what you look like. Your age, race, ethnicity, religion, gender, color, sexual orientation, or physical capabilities don't matter one bit as long as you can think and speak like a character that someone else created. To be successful, you don't require training or education or experience, you just really have to love making different voices for characters. This doesn't mean that you'll get a job based on how well you can imitate Bugs Bunny's "What's up, doc?" or other famous quips, though. You need to have a unique voice that can adapt to a variety of situations. Best way to get this job is to create a large portfolio of audio samples, go to Los Angeles and audition for a bunch of parts, or hire an agent to do all the promotional work for you. Still better, and arguably easier, than mopping floors at the local hospital.
