8 Famous People From History Who Were Surprisingly Socially Awkward

7. Andy Warhol

Andy Warhol is widely known as the leader of the pop art movement, and his work has sold for as much as $105,000,000. He is also known for being a little bit eccentric. Reluctant to comment on his life or his work in interviews, he would often reply with 'yes' and 'no' answers, if at all. When Warhol died in 1987, he left behind a 4-story house and a storage unit full of various collections, including time capsules, a mummified foot and a plethora of wigs. He was very protective of his wigs, which were imported from Italy. When a girl took a wig off his head one day, he wrote in his diary that he didn't know what stopped him from pushing her off the balcony.
