8 London Tourist Attractions That Make Absolutely No Sense
6. The London Noses
One day, artist Rick Buckley woke up and said: "Okay, yeah, I'm going to attach 35 concrete noses to various buildings all over London. Not just any noses, though: replicas of my own nose." And that's exactly what Buckley did. And you can still wander the streets trying to spot the remaining 10, if that's the sort of thing you're into. Or you can just meander around hoping that you'll stumble upon one by accident, which could happen, probably. Apparently, Buckley got annoyed when London went all CCTV camera crazy, and decided that the best response would be to install these noses beneath said cameras in a bunch of prominent places. To get you started, then, there's one hidden at St. Pancras station, and another at the Admiralty Arch. There's also a lovely nose on Dean Street. If you do decide to have a gander, do have fun on what might end up being the weirdest day of your life. Who "nose?" You might even end up enjoying yourself (sorry).
