8 London Tourist Attractions That Make Absolutely No Sense

1. M&M's World

M&M's World. The absolute inspiration for this article and one of the most bizarrely placed tourist attractions in London - heck, let alone the world. There are so many things wrong with the fact that M&M's World exists (and in London's Leicester Square of all places) that it hurts the mind to actually comprehend how planning permission for this thing went through. Who looked at that vacant building and decided M&M's needed their own WORLD? Firstly, there are four levels inherent to this monstrosity. FOUR STORIES for a building themed around M&M's? Why? It makes absolutely no sense. M&M's aren't even particularly ingrained within the UK culture: tourists who come to London presumably look upon this oddity whilst strolling around the West End and come away thinking that the British have a thing for M&M's. We don't. We really, really don't. People aren't bothered about them. At all. The fact that M&M's are so low down the list of "Britishy things" is just the start. Gaze upon this superstore and feel your face as it begins to display what can only be described as "a confused frown." The fact that, somehow, somebody managed to craft an entire "world" out of one sweet is insane: there are M&M branded cups, spoons, picture frames, key-rings... you name it, and it's available (for absolutely mental prices, we'll have you know). Cadbury's World would have made complete and utter sense. This... well, this is madness. Like this article? Got any to add? Let us know in the comments section below.
