If your group is anything like ours, you'll have people who are desperate to run off and explore. Even if you are going somewhere together, one or two will begin to split from the pack as they excitedly want to take photos of everything.

One way to stop Universal newbies from getting completely lost is to hand out park maps. We distributed them before we arrived but I would strongly recommend handing these out as you enter the park. This means when you decide where to head to next your group know where they are going.

If you are planning on splitting up, select a meeting point that your group can easily find. At Universal Studios Florida we chose Music Plaza outside Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket. The coaster is tall enough to be seen from a distance and the open space of the plaza allowed us to easily spot each other. This meant we could go our separate ways and knew where to go when we were done.

Make sure you agree together where your meeting point is and that everyone knows either how to get there, or where it is on the map.
