If you and your group love apps then you MUST download the Universal Orlando app.

You can buy tickets, check out the maps and find out when shows are on. There's even a section for you to note where your car is parked.

What I found to be the most useful feature is the ability to check out the current wait times for attractions. Rather than dragging a big group across the park only to find out the wait time is 85 minutes, we could simply check the app and then look for something else to do if the wait time was too long for us.

Another brilliant feature was the Wait Time Notifications for each ride. I would set a wait time that we were prepared to do for each attraction. When the queue decreased to that time a notification would come through on my phone. This is helpful for some of the more popular attractions like The Incredible Hulk Coaster and Harry Potter and The Forbidden Journey. The perfect way to enjoy other attractions and not stand in long lines for others.

The Universal Orlando App is an absolute must for saving time and keeping up to date with what's going on in the parks.
