After a few weeks in the role the fresher will become what is known in the animal kingdom as nocturnal. They will know which clubs are open on what days and will take a shine to afternoon lectures rather than mornings. They really do sleep all day and party all night. It's a mad world but someone's got to do it. The rare breed of the early rising fresher is one to watch. They have the capacity to party all night and do work all day - but seem to never sleep. It must be all the coffee. But if you get your essays done in-between the partying and handed in with 2 minutes to spare - then you've nailed it, fresher.
