Firefighters, the police and doctors are all average Joe's who are saving lives on a daily basis. From a young age, they sought to be a part of a profession which will truly make a difference in someone's life, and that doesn't mean that they aren't putting themselves in danger in the process. However, it isn't just human lives that these guys are saving either. Firefighters have proven that they will risk their own lives for any victims of a fire, but they'll also rescue their pets. One firefighter in Detroit, removed his own oxygen mask in an attempt to save the lives of two dogs who were caught in a house fire. Had he not done this, those poor animals would have died and their owner would never have been able to forgive themselves for their death. Has your faith in humanity been restored yet?
