9 Celebrities You Won't Believe Were Once Homeless

4. Daniel Craig

Daniel Craig is an English actor that was thrust into the international spotlight after landing the role of James Bond in the popular spy series. Prior to this, Craig has had roles in films such as Layer Cake, Munich and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, meaning his casting as Bond wasn't out of the blue. Aged 16, Craig moved to London in order to kick off his acting career. Upon arriving, he was almost completely penniless with no savings, and no permanent home to speak of. "When you first come here, you have to survive," claims Craig in an interview with the Times. "You have to live off people's floors and rent property and you end up doing runners. I've done awful things to survive, because I had no money." Fortunately, Craig was accepted into the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and began a successful career a few years later.
