9 Celebrities You Won't Believe Were Once Homeless

3. Sylvester Stallone

It's not just Stallone's fictional boxing champion Rocky that started out as an underdog. Stallone is now known internationally as an action movie star and sucessful director, but his road to fortune was an uphill struggle. Stallone decided to pursue an acting career early in his life, but he had trouble with sourcing a regular income. At one point, he was evicted from his apartment due to financial issues. Stallone was completely homeless for a short period of time, and lived in the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City for several weeks. He infamously starred in pornography film The Party at Kitty and Stud's, in a move Stallone has since claimed was made out of desperation. "It was either do that movie," Stallone claims, "or rob someone, because I was at the end €“ the very end €“ of my rope." The actor managed to secure a few scattered roles after this, but his life was changed after gaining funding to make and star in Rocky.
