7. Chinese Water Deer

The young Chinese Water Deer is so small that you can hold it in the palm of your hand.

It gets a bit less cute as time goes by as, when it evolv- I mean, grows up - it sprouts not a pair of antlers, but two long, vampiric fangs that can grow up to 8cm in length.

These aren't just any fangs, however, as the deer can actually move and control them, hitching them out of the way to eat and pointing them aggressively when fighting.

They're also fantastic swimmers and can swim many miles in between remote islands, giving it its name (and meaning you could presumably teach it Water Gun and Hydro Pump).
