9. You Get The Best Of Both Worlds
"May I see your ID" is no longer a scary question. Yes, you're now old enough to buy whatever you want and go whenever you want. You're also old enough to have no curfew. What was your 'home time' a few years ago is now 'getting ready for a party' time. Whether you're home by midnight or three days later who cares (that's if you're single of course). Not to mention you are allowed to bring back whoever you want, sleepovers are optional every night. At the same time you are still young enough to stay on the dance floor till the music stops even if you have to go to work three hours later. Plus the parties have just reached a whole new level. No more school discos and 18th birthdays. We're talking stag/hen dos, and lads/girls holidays, going mad, as you never know if it's not your last time. You still have the energy of a teenager but you no longer have to lie that you are tired and that's why you are going home from the party so early, or get stressed out like Cinderella when the clock reaches midnight. Say hello to crazy times full of great memories, and some with no memories at all.
