9 Reasons PC Owners Are Jealous Of Macs

6. Longer Lasting Components And Sleek Design

There is no question that, on the whole, PCs (both desktop and laptop) are far, far cheaper than Macs. This is why, for so long, they have dominated the market. People just don't have the capital to make a vast initial financial outlay on an Apple computer.

Macs are pricey. Even the cheaper models. They probably aren't worth the expenditure unless they are going to be used on a regular basis, and for more than just a bit of word-processing, social networking and online shopping.

However, the superior build quality of Apple's products compared to most of the budget PCs from Dell, HP, Google and the like renders them cheaper in the long run for those that use their computer on a regular basis. The initial minute outlay on a Windows PC may seem attractive, but the constant need for repairs and replacement parts will eventually render them incredibly expensive - until you finally give in and buy a new one, with the same results.

The reason that they are cheaper is that they are built to be simple and semi-disposable. Macs are pricy because they're built to last, on the whole.

Plus, just look at the design of Apple's products. They look absolutely stunning. Even the staunchest supporter of Windows is forced to acknowledge the sleekness of a Mac mouse, the futuristic style of Apple's desktop monitors, and the genius of light-to-the-touch Mac keyboards.
