The question of "is my red the same as your red" is not just a question about colour, it is throwing into sharp relief the string of paranoia that threads itself throughout most of these videos - how alone are we in our own minds?

This childish question that has kicked off many a pub debate asks whether, even though we both perceive a certain wavelength of light and have learnt to call it red, there is no real way of checking whether we are seeing the same thing at all.
