9 Things We Learned From CIA Agent Mike Baker On Joe Rogan's Podcast

1. World War 3?

Following the decision by the US government to take Iranian out Major General, Qasem Soleimani, via drone strike, many were wondering if this would be the catalyst that brought about the World War III.

There were plenty of people - including Rogan himself - who were extremely worried about the repercussions of this event, but Baker didn't share the same level of anxiety that many of us did at the time of the Soleimani's death. In fact, the former CIA agent was extremely confident that this situation wouldn't escalate into the next big war for a number of reasons.

Firstly, Baker believes that the US has the sort of firepower that could take out Iran's entire electricity supply within a night, rendering them practically incapable of launching a full scale attack. He also mentioned that Iran's allies, China and Russia, won't be interested in helping them retaliate as the result could be extremely damaging for them. While it's impossible to know how this whole situation will turn out, Baker does bring up some very convincing points that helps us put our minds at ease.

There's plenty more to learn from this particular episode of the JRE, so if you've got a couple of hours to spare then definitely give it a listen.
