Okay, so most of the dinosaurs on this list are here because their dorky appearance made me laugh a cruel, judgemental laugh. But, aside from the fact that his mum obviously made him wear a crash helmet to the skate park, this guy is working it. Look at that head gear; look at that smouldering gaze. What is this, some kind of Jurassic Park/Mad Max/America's Next Top Model mash up? The dome of bone on the top of Pachycephalosaurus' head could be up to 25cm thick, but as they reportedly had such teeny tiny brains, you sort of wonder why they bothered. It is thought that they used their ultra-thick heads in combat, either for mating or just because they liked a good fight, smashing them together like a horde of reptilian Millwall fans. It is also likely that they had a fairly short, thick neck, short fore limbs, a bulky body, long hind legs and a heavy tail, further solidifying their position as the football hooligans of the Cretaceous.
