10 Things You Didn't Know About The Tower Of Terror

9. A Game Of Mahjong

Tower of Terror
DisneyWorld

As you pass through the hotel's lobby, you'll notice that everything has seemingly been frozen in time, as if one day everything in the hotel just stopped, and everyone in it left. There's old newspapers, abandoned suitcases, uneaten pastries, and unfinished cocktails. There's also a game of Mahjong, awaiting the players to return.

The game is set up as though midway through, and that's because it is. Disney hired four top Mahjong players to set up the board and start playing, and then to simply leave it unfinished, but at a point where it could be picked up again.

It's another small detail, but once again really goes towards creating the look and feel of the spooky, derelict hotel.
