3. Tony's Still Here, Mrs. Torrance
As a wandering drunk, Dan Torrance enters the quaint little town in which he will find AA, a job, and a little girl named Abra that the True Knot wishes to feed upon. Dan looks up at a passing window to see Tony staring back at him. Tony waves and then is gone leaving nothing, but the boarded up window of an empty derelict. Freaked out, Dan is not sure what to make of seeing Tony for the first time since he was a boy and it makes him wary of what might be coming next. That night Dan wakes up needing to go to the bathroom. He pauses at the door, afraid of what he might find, reminded of Room 217. He pushes the door open slowly. REDRUM is written in red across the mirror.
