78. James Bond Vs. Austin Powers

Battle: Daniel Craig's James Bond (Ben Atha) faces off against Austin Powers (Peter), before Sean Connery's Bond (Lloyd) joins the battle.

This one had so much potential, but was instead a bitterly disappointing affair.

It's ironic in a bad way that, despite being the lead of those insufferable parody films, Powers gets the best lines out of the three rappers while both Bond incarnations drop bland, forgettable verses. Neither rapper does a very good job as their character either.

Atha's Craig impersonation is far too dour and angry (Craig's Bond is grittier but not this grumpy) and Lloyd's attempt to do Connery's accent is pretty terrible.

Speaking of that, the introduction of Connery's Bond was a huge mistake, since it over-complicates the whole thing and Austin Powers is basically left out of the rest of the battle. It would've been better just to have Connery's Bond there from the beginning, rapping against Austin Powers.

Best Line:

Bond (Connery): "I don't need a Q to break your balls!"
