Every Epic Rap Battles Of History Ranked
77. Nice Peter Vs. Epic Lloyd 2
Battle: Playing meta-fictional versions of themselves, Nice Peter and Epic Lloyd face off in the ERB studio.
Season five was a bit of a let-down, since the rap battles just felt kind-of tired and subdued compared to previous years.
In retrospect, it seems like the team were burned out and just needed a break; they did take a hiatus of several years after season five and delivered a tremendous season six, so they're back on form now, but season five remains the show's worst season and it has the show's worst season finale too.
The original Nice Peter Vs. Epic Lloyd battle from season one wasn't that great, so why bother doing a follow-up to that one when they could've done a sequel to one of their classics? Who knows?
Regardless, this is a weak battle. The best part by far is when Peter and Lloyd are in the green screen room and the editor makes Peter's arm and Lloyd's head look extra large; that was a funny gag. The rest of it is very rote and forgettable.
Best Line:
Epic Lloyd: "And then I try to tell you things but you're too stubborn to understand / Like dude that is not a cool way to play Batman!"
