52. The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon

Stephen King in It: Chapter Two
Scribner

The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon is a psychological horror which follows a girl called Trisha after she gets lost in the woods.

Forced to battle dehydration and fear, the young girl comes face to face with the God of the Lost, with only her portable radio for comfort. It's a slim, sometimes thrilling novel about survival and the fine line between reality and fantasy, but ends up being a rather forgettable affair when compared to his other works.

I get to write about what I love, so that's pretty cool. Every great film should seem new every time you see it. Be excellent to each other.
