Stephen King in It: Chapter Two
Random House

The second novel King co-wrote with fellow horror maestro Peter Straub, Black House serves as a sequel to their first joint, The Talisman, as well as a key aspect of the Dark Tower series.

Protagonist Jack, using his abilities to walk between universes, must make a stand against a serial killer who he is being controlled by major Stephen King villain the Crimson King. Building on the world and characters encountered in The Talisman, Black House is not as good as its predecessor, but still makes for a disturbing exercise in horror that only King and Straub could conjure up.
