9. Depths Of Fear

Despite ranking so low on this list, Depths of Fear is a very good maze and you shouldn't skip it.

Depths of Fear was one of the more intense houses of the night. Thanks to the sound of the imploding mining base and the screams of the Mouthbrooder's victims, this is a loud maze. The house is packed to the rafters with scare actors who did an excellent job.

When I first heard about this maze, I imagined the Mouthbrooder's to be smaller creatures with the team using puppets. I was wrong. These acidic creatures were HUGE!

I was expecting the maze to be slightly more claustrophobic than it was, but I loved the way the house looked. I especially enjoyed the corridor with the flowing water and the escape pod.

So why does this maze rank so low? This year has some excellent houses and this one just didn't quite appeal to me as much as others. It was also the last maze of the evening so I may have been suffering from HHN fatigue at the end of the night. If I had the time I'd have loved to have experienced this one again.

If you love underwater sci-fi this is going to be high on your own rankings list.
