Every Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights House 2022 - Ranked
8. Bugs: Eaten Alive
The House:
Venturing into a 1950s home of tomorrow isn't quite what it seems. Creepy crawlies of all descriptions have taken over the house and have you in their trap.
The Verdict:
This house was not what we were expecting. In the build up to the event is had been described as a maze that no body would be able to finish. This house wasn't quite as scary as what we thought it was going to be.
Bugs: Eaten Alive was instead the comedy house of HHN31. With a dark sense of humour this maze was a lot of fun. The 1950's advertising gave a tongue-in-cheek element as you went through that made us genuinely chuckle during our experience. Of course there was still plenty of scares to be had.
If you have major fears of insects and holes this could be a house that you might chose to sit out, but many in our group who before the walkthrough declared to be scared of bugs ended up enjoying this maze.
The house also had some dark sections to it so if you struggle with very low light houses, there could be some spots where you might feel the fear.
This house is likely to be one that gets better with time as you spot more fun with each run through.
We really liked this house, so don't let its position fool you. From this point on, every house was enjoyable/horrifying. HHN31 is one of the toughest events we've ranked.
