The House:

Enter a 1920's speakeasy filled with flapper witches. Watch as they transform into an evil haggish form and attempt to make you into their witches brew. Will you become the spirit of the coven when they are finished with you?

The Verdict:

The opening of this house was great. The speakeasy aesthetic was perfectly executed, including the haunting barman and the laughing flapper witches.

Spirits of the Coven was full of surprises and would be an excellent house to take in on Universal's Unmasking The Horror Tour. There are so many details to take in from the creepy piano player to a severed head spinning on a roulette wheel.

As the house progresses things get darker and darker, sending you to where the witches make their "brew". The witches become more haggish are out in full force the closer you get to the end.

We managed to get a really great run through this house with plenty of scares towards the end. The witches and their crew were vicious at the close and the relentlessness of them added to the scariness.

Perhaps this house would have been slightly higher on the list if the speakeasy theme carried on all the way through the maze, rather than turning into the brewing warehouse. However, for us it was the perfect run through with lots of screams to be had.
