10 Things You Discover When You Date Someone With Dyspraxia

8. But When They Do Clean Themselves Up, It's Even Sweeter

For most people, putting on some nice clothes and dressing to impress isn't really that big of a deal. But if you're dating a Dyspraxic, polishing themselves up is genuinely one of the sweetest things they can do. Why? Well, if they're a guy then being cleanly shaven, dealing with ties (or god forbid, bowties), fiddly shoelaces, uncomfortable trousers and restricting shirts is an absolute nightmare. If they're a girl then it's even worse - shaving, makeup and getting your hair done is no easy feat for most people, but for a woman with dyspraxia it's an absolutely terrifying prospect. So when you do go out on a date and they've properly dressed up, you know that it's a fairly big deal. Sure their tie might be a bit wonky, or they might have missed a spot when shining their shoes, but they've put a hell of a lot of effort into dressing up well. Even if they've not managed to iron out every crease, you should still appreciate it.
