10 Things You Discover When You Date Someone With Dyspraxia

7. Once They've Put Something Down, It's Gone Forever

This can be the must frustrating thing ever. A common problem Dyspraxics face is that they lose stuff very easily, putting them down somewhere and then forgetting where they've left it. Car keys behind the router, phones left at work, debit cards under the bed - they'll forever be losing things and you'll forever be finding them in the last place you'd think to look. Whilst most of the time this is just an annoyance, it can actually present huge problems - losing a credit or debit card when you need it most, or getting stuck somewhere because they've lost their car keys, The best thing you can do if you're dating a dyspraxic like this is to help encourage them to always put things in the same place. Organisation can be a big problem for Dyspraxics, but it's amazing what little things like just putting out a place for them to put their keys can do to make things easier.
