7. Scary Tales: Deadly Ever After

House Overview: Darkness has fallen over the Fairytale realm as the Wicked Witch of the West has taken control of the land. Your favourite stories have been twisted and your heroes are not the same as they once were. If the good guys are now the bad guys, imagine how evil the bad guys are?!

Despite this being #7 on this list, Scary Tales is a house that I'm particularly looking forward to. It shows just how strong the line-up is for HHN28 that this maze appears so low here.

Scary Tales is an original idea that over the years has become its own franchise at HHN. It's had numerous scare zones and mazes in the past, for long time goers of the event this isn't a new idea. Having never experienced the previous incarnations of this original idea myself, I have very little preconceived ideas of what to expect and so I'm very much interested to see this concept.

As someone who spent their childhood on a diet of fairytales, the Wizard of Oz and happily ever afters, this house certainly has my interest. I love the idea of seeing darker versions of these beloved kids stories. After all these tales usually have a dark and twisted origin.

I'm also keen to see how this house will physically look. Will we be going deep into the woods, will there be a ruined yellow brick road? I'm looking forward to having all my questions on this maze answered.
