Harry Potter: 10 Plot Points That No One Will Ever Agree On

10. Time Travel

Turner Time travel is always a tricky issue. There are rules that can't be broken...except when they can. You can't see or interact with your past/future self without terrible consequences...except Harry did. Could Harry really cast his first successful Patronus to save his and Hermione's lives because he knew that he could do it because he'd already seen himself do it? With their future selves already existing and changing the timeline, could past-Harry and past-Hermione really have been killed by the dementors even without Harry's Patronus? Why didn't Snape realize how they must have done it? Or does none of that matter and we should just enjoy the book?
"'Are you telling me,' Harry whispered, 'that we're here in this cupboard and we're out there too?'"
